I’m not going lie, these types of pages always feel like those team-building exercises where you have to stand up and talk about yourself in front of a group of strangers.
What do I say? How detailed do I go? Do I stick with talking about my professional skills, or do I begin in 1983 and go from there?
Let’s keep it simple.
Hello my name is Scout, and thank you for dropping by my little corner of the internet.
In September 2018 I made the decision to sell the house I jointly owned with my sister, and use the money to go travelling around the world. At the time of writing, it is June 2019, and the house has been up on the market for almost two months.
I am drawing on past and current experiences to bring you weekly, high-quality travel advice that is useful for any and all.
However, being 35, a little ‘chonky’, I wear wigs due to thinning hair (alopecia), and a member of the LGBT community, I have a soft spot for writing advice aimed at the unconventional traveler.
Where else can you find me?
Travel blogging isn’t the only venture I like to indulge in, although at the moment it is the primary one.
I’m also an artist with a free weekly webcomic called The Director Must Die, which updates every Friday.
Until I start travelling and have a reason to focus on more than one social network, Twitter is my primary platform and it is the fastest and easiest way to get in touch!
